Ziv is a specialist in building, construction and development advice, property and strata advice, and development due diligence. He has extensive experience advising on residential, commercial, industrial and public works across all development stages. This advice extends to contract negotiations, drafting, administration, dispute resolution and defect/variation/delay claims.
Ziv advises individuals, strata, directors, principals, developers and contractors on a broad range of development, commercial, property and construction issues, specifically but not limited to, development due diligence, risk allocation, contract drafting, claim administration, and alternative dispute resolution. He also advises on construction-related commercial issues including director disputes and shareholder oppression on property dispute matters. He is a specialist in advising on Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 matters and appeals, from both the claimant and respondent perspective.
With an interest in general property advisory, Ziv also has experience advising on caveat, easement, contamination, and encroachment matters, and expertise in strata disputes and committee mismanagement.
