Richard works in corporate advisory specialising in financial services and insurance law, with an emphasis on regulatory reform.
Before joining McCabe Curwood, Richard spent 5 years as a financial services lawyer in Allianz’s legal team working on all front-end insurance matters and on a range of regulatory matters impacting general insurance.
This technical and industry background has given him an in depth knowledge of the practical challenges facing a general insurer and the technical concepts that they struggle with and allows him to provide practical advice to his clients.
Prior to admission, Richard worked for large insurers QBE and Allianz, with roles in underwriting, finance, project management, claims management for commercial property, and product management.
