About Nicola

Nicola is a highly experienced employment lawyer. She is passionate about her clients and their businesses and how she can best support them. Nicola provides a full service of employment relations, industrial relations and HR advice to her clients, both in contentious and non-contentious matters.

She is experienced in representing clients in the Fair Work Commission, State Industrial Relations Commission, Federal Circuit Court and Federal Court, as well as conducting mediations and conciliations.

The day to day aspects of her advice work covers all aspects of the employment lifecycle, from preparing and rolling out training programmes, policies and contracts, to advising on restraints, executive recruitment and terminations, restructures and supporting our Corporate team on the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

Nicola also provides hands on support to Boards, senior management, legal and HR teams guiding and advising them on day to day issues such as absenteeism, long term absence, performance management grievances, disciplinary issues and terminations.

Secondments to a major financial organisation, a global infrastructure company and a transport corporation have given Nicola an invaluable insight into her clients’ businesses and their priorities for employee relations strategies, positioning Nicola to provide client centric, succinct and commercial advice to all her clients.

Nicola has a particular interest in anti-discrimination and harassment issues, including conducting training sessions and seminars and in conducting employment litigation.
