About Erin

Erin practices in the area of employment law and provides advice to clients on all aspects of the employment relationship.  Having university qualifications in law, human resources management and industrial relations, Erin understands the complexities of people management and provides practical advice that helps her clients achieve their desired commercial outcomes.

Erin works with the senior management, in-house counsel and human resources personnel of her clients to assist with workplace issues including compliance with the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and various awards, termination of employment, performance management, disciplinary matters, employee complaints and grievances, discrimination, restraint of trade, and redundancy.

Erin also has experience in drafting and advising on employment contracts, contractor agreements, company policies and employee handbooks. She works with her colleagues in our Corporate team to assist with the employment aspects of sale of business transactions and corporate restructures.

Erin has experience in conducting workplace investigations, including in respect of bullying and harassment, misconduct and employee grievances. She also prepares and conducts workplace training sessions in respect of bullying and harassment, workplace investigations and performance management of employees.

Erin acts for employers in respect of employment-related claims, such as unfair dismissal, general protections and breach of contract claims.

Erin has assisted both public and private sector employers in a range of industries, including hospitality, restaurants, professional services, mining, engineering, media and entertainment, advertising, manufacturing, private equity, insurance, transport, construction and infrastructure.
