Daniel is a lawyer in the Statutory Insurance team specialising in motor accident claims acting for various major Australian insurers.
Daniel joined McCabe Curwood following two years of claims management experience working in the Allianz Insurance CTP Major Claims team. This provided him with a unique perspective towards defendant litigation from date of lodgement through to resolution and understanding the needs and expectations of clients. Daniel was responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of major claims dealing with claims of high value, complex rehabilitation, complex liability, complex medical issues, fraud elements or often a mix of them all.
He is experienced in analysing medical issues, assisting with rehabilitation, assessing causation, investigating fraud and liability issues, estimating and quantifying claims, setting claims management strategies, drafting submissions and negotiating the settlement of claims.
Daniel has experience across various jurisdictions including the New South Wales District Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
