Sydney, June 2019: McCabe Curwood’s litigation and dispute resolution group (LDR) has been named as a finalist for the coveted Dispute Resolution Team of the Year in the 19th annual Australian Law Awards. The high functioning team of 11, led by Andrew Lacey is known as a quality focused and efficient team.

“I am really proud of the work that the McCabe Curwood LDR group produce. We are big enough to take on complex litigation, but also boutique enough to be able to form genuine, beneficial relationships with our clients. We want to see our clients succeed in all areas of business.” Said Andrew Lacey.

Hosted by Lawyers Weekly, in partnership with UNSW Law, the awards are recognised nationwide, with nominated legal professionals acknowledged for their impressive work within their respective areas.

Managing Principal Andrew Lacey, who has also been nominated as a finalist for the Managing Partner of the Year award, said he is immensely proud of the work ethic and dedication shown by his team.

“This nomination is as much about their hard work as my efforts in the past 12 months,” he said.

Other legal practice areas recognised by the Australian Law Awards include brilliance at the bar, legal in-house powerhouses, innovators and various firm-led pro bono programs.

The winners will be announced at The Star, Sydney, on 9 August 2019.
